I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DIANA Palmer books she has the best u understanding of the western and or alpha male mind I have ever read. She understands how the female thinks and I have read many authors thatt I love but none better than her. So for a good read download this book. It is a good one
This book was very predictable with two mostly unlikable characters. I wondered if it had been written in the 80's but no it says 2014. Quinn smokes (!???!) and he was/is an Olympic skier(?) but now he owns a ranch and that isn't going so well. He isn't even likable the first part of the book and the second half of the book he is not believable. I didn't care for the ending but I managed to finish the book by skipping several pages at a time. Seriously she is (he thinks) dead and he is thinking about the modern fabric on his ski suit and boots? really? If this can get published then I had better get started writing my novel as there is hope for me. I can't believe how many good ratings this book got. Why??? Save your money and skip this book.

If you havent read many of her stories it's a good book but if you have read several as I have kinda predictable
This was published with a title of " Suttons Way" or something like that, and yes it was written in the 80's.
Very interesting story. While this is not a fast moving book, the characters are well developed and quite believable. It is a story with a theme not usually noted in today's writings in that it carries a lot of what could be considered "old fashioned" ethics, beliefs and life style.practices.. It was an easy read with high interest. Palmer is a favorite of mine and this one just reinforces that further..
